THE Refuge Episode 23 ONE Lord

This is our SECOND week on ONE. ONE is a program that is designed for students to reach their schools one at a time. We are looking through Ephesians 4 on how Paul told the church of Ephesus about ONE Lord, Hope, Father, God, Baptism.

THIS WEEK IS FOCUSING ON ONE LORD. THE LORD IS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD, GOD. HE DESERVES OUR TIME AND EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES, THIS SERMON CHALLENGES YOU TO EXAMINE YOUR LIVES TO SEE WHAT IS LORD IN YOUR LIFE.

There is ONE body and ONE Spirit just as you were called to ONE hope when you were called— 5 ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism; 6 ONE God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

This is something I feel God has laid on my heart for the school year 2009 -2010. It is called ONE and it is an outreach method we will do through the Student Ministry. The whole month of August and September we will be focusing on how the Bible commands us to do this. Students I pray, that you will get behind this vision to reach ONE person for Christ this year. Imagine that if every ONE in our student ministry invested an entire school year in ONE unchurched person in their school what could happen.

1. A person would be in the kingdom of God
2. Our student ministry would double in size in ONE year
3. We would be fulfilling our commandment in the great commission.

This month we are focusing on GO!!! missions and how In Matthew 28 Christ commissions us to GO and make disciples in all nations. We are going to examine ways that you can go, ways that you can make a difference, and inspiration to Go.

On May 20 we will be watching the movie GO a documentary from the Invisible Children. Invisible Children is a organization They are storytellers. We are visionaries, humanitarians, artists, and entrepreneurs. We are individuals part of a generation eager for change and willing to pursue it.

They're a non-profit we work to transform apathy into activism. By documenting the lives of those living in regions of conflict and injustice, theyhope to educate and inspire individuals in the Western world to use their unique voice for change. Our media creates an opportunity for people to become part of a grassroots movement that intelligently responds to what.s happening in the world.

But their work extends beyond our borders. In war-affected regions we focus on long-term development, working directly with individuals and institutions that are eager to realize their full potential. Through education and innovative economic opportunities, they partner with affected communities and strive to improve the quality of life for individuals living in conflict and post-conflict regions.

On May 27 we are doing the TOMS style your sole party. This is a event that you buy a pair of TOMS and a child in need gets a pair of TOMS free. TOMS 's moto is one for one .
